• Label histology cassettes with #2 pencil or a mechanical pencil with 0.5-mm lead (pen and marker will wash off during processing, including those products indicated as “permanent”). |

Turnaround Times A diagnostic pathology report will be available within 10 working days from receipt of specimen. Anatomic pathologists frequently provide findings via call or email within 2–3 days from receipt of sample in order to retrieve additional history or request for special stains helpful to the final disposition of the case. |
